9/18/09: I will not be racing tonight. The primary engine broke in hot laps last week and my schedule did not allow for me to get it fixed. Stay tuned for future plans for this season.
8/31/09: After a HUGE attempt to get things done for last Friday we came up short. I didn't go to bed before 3am all week. With help from some great friends we took it from a bare chassis on Friday (8/21) at 5:00pm to almost racing it then next Friday. I came up just a few hours short. We'll be ready to go 9/4!
8/24/09: Still trying to get things together to race this coming Friday. It is 50/50 right now. The car is looking great! It just comes down to all the little details at this point. Stay tuned........
Plans have changed rather dramatically. Instead of leaving for Iowa to pick up the new chassis on 7/28 I spent the early morning beside my dad before he passed. Racing was put on the back burner. I'm beginning work again and hate to even speculate when I will get things done. Please stay tuned and I will update what is happening once I know. RIP Dad!
I have two different things going right now. I'll pick up my new Victory Chassis the week of 7/27. However, waiting on it has motivated me to get to work on my own chassis. My plan is to focus on finishing it and returning to the track 8/7 if everything goes right, 8/14 if not. Stay tuned......
